SHIP REPAIR & MAINTENANCE

Pacific Diving has been performing ship repairs on both commercial and military vessels since 1975.  Repairs often require underwater welding or cutting operations on the rudder, propellers, rope guards, or hull plating.  A typical underwater welding repair job can be seen in this photo sequence:

Ship maintenance is performed to insure vessels are operating at optimum efficiency.  This involves hull cleaning, propeller cleaning and polishing, rope guard servicing, sea chest cleaning, cathodic protection maintenance, and ultrasonic testing.  We offer video or photographic surveys and customize our survey reports to each client's requirements.  One example of our maintenance capabilities can be seen below:
